Obama in Ireland

In May of 2011 Air Force One landed in Ireland bringing Barack Obama home. President Barack Obama had come to visit a house in Moneygall, County Offaly once lived in by his great-great-great grandfather Falmouth Kearney, and to work “the most garrulous rope line” of his Presidency, according to the New York Times.  President Obama would then travel to Dublin where he introduced himself as, “I’m Barack Obama, from the Moneygall Obamas,” he said to a fired-up crowd of 25,000. “And I’ve come home to find the apostrophe that we lost somewhere along the way.”
